Detour Bluegrass
A great contemporary band from Northern Michigan. Detour is one of only two bands to have played at every Pickin' on CF show. We're proud to have them, and glad they are returning this year! You can find out more about this fine group on their website or MySpace.
Jerry Butler and The Blu-J's
Pickin' on CF is proud to present this nationally touring band. Jerry Butler, John Wade, Tim Goins, Bobby Clark, and Daniel Oxendine, bring traditional bluegrass along with familiar classic country songs, in their unique style. You can find their new CD, Haulin' Grass, on Blue Circle Records. They will be on our stage Saturday, don't miss it! Singer/Songwriter Glenn Spayth
Glenn was born and raised in Michigan; he truly is coming home in September for Pickin' on Cystic Fibrosis.

I lost my beautiful daughter this past August, she battled Cystic Fibrosis for 34 years. So I am looking forward to sharing in this year's "Pickin' on CF festival". We have to find a cure for this terrible disease.------ Glenn Spayth.
Singer-Songwriter, poet, author, and story-teller are just some of the titles that describe Glenn Spayth. Calling Bulls Gap, Tennessee his home base, he performs around the country sharing his East Tennessee wit, humor and stories. Glenn describes his music as "Heartland Blues", the title of his first full length CD released in 2005. His current release "Walkin' Shoes" is his fourth CD. His music is a mixture of country, blues, folk, and bluegrass.
Although not considered traditional bluegrass he performs at many bluegrass events, and seems to fit in quite well. Playing several acoustic instruments,he seems to play a little of everything. In fact he plays all the instruments on his CDs, recording in his own studio, "Darkhollow studio" at his home in Bulls Gap.
Glenn performs in Nashville couple times a year, but likes to stay away from, "The Nashville Scene", as he puts it, preferring to take his talents to the people.

Lonesome County
An Ann Arbor based, traditional, hard driving band. You can find out more about this fine group on their website.
These siblings, ages thirteen to seventeen, and their Dad, based in Central Ohio are turning a few heads. Be sure to see their musical performance at Pickin' on CF!
You are sure to enjoy the hard-driving sound of New County Grass, with Dean Dubois on banjo, Brent Estep on bass, Duane Estep on mandolin and Kyle Estep on guitar.
Out Of The Blue, a southern lower Michigan based band, plays and sings traditional bluegrass and bluegrass gospel music. The band has a Myspace page in addition to their website.
New Outlook featuring Lori and Brad Lambert
Lori Lyn and New Outlook is a new and upcoming Bluegrass Band based in Northwestern Ohio. Lori and Brad Lambert are the core members of this fine band. You can find out more on MySpace or their website.
Berachah Valley
Blend of traditional bluegrass gospel with a twisty tang! Berachah Valley has had the distinct pleasure of being invited to play the Main Street Arts and Music Festival in 2006 and 2007. Bill Bynum & Company
With songs both traditional and original, and a sound that's at once as comfortable as old jeans and as fresh as a new blade of grass, Bill Bynum & Company is a band that’s easy to love and hard to quit. The band’s core of guitar, Dobro, fiddle, bass and harmony vocals can lean into bluegrass, veer toward country, or take listeners on a unique journey through Bill’s original songs. Hardline Drive

Stoney Creek Gospel
Stoney Creek Gospel is an Ypsilanti based Bluegrass gospel band who loves to serve the Lord through music wherever He leads. Although not related, there is a family like bond between the six members who have been singing together for four years. The group consists of: Lead Vocalists Jeff and Sherry Rose, Acoustic Guitar and bass vocals Joe Fite, Bass G.uitar and Vocals Rachel Guenther and Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle and Vocals Daniel Guenther. The Windy Mountain Boys
These guys can be found in campgrounds and at concerts everywhere. Jimmy Kittle, founder of Pickin' on Cystic Fibrosis, plays in this group. Good music, and great fun.
